Shifts or changes in translation is one of some elements can be used by translators as a procedure in resolving problem of translations. The purpose of this study is to presents the translation shift as a procedure occured in translation of some Indonesian source texts (ST) into English Target Texts (TT) instructions found on Commuter Line, train operated in Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi by PT. Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI). The bilingual Indonesian-English instructions written within the pictures used as the data which were collected by using documentation and by taking pictures. The type of traslation shifts revealed in the texts are level shift, structure shift, class shifts, unit shifts, and intra-system shift.
